I'm playing it by ear, family will still be around Sat May have to go Sun.

 

Trying to go but still have family in town as well.

 

I cannot make it Saturday. I have a wedding that afternoon.

Going to be a slow day in the office today - that means lots of TW.

 

Where can i get my truck inspected that they won't ding me for not having covers on my lights?

Not a bad idea! They're square though. I also have my airbag light on which won't turn off. Looks like I may be in for a trip to the dealership unfortunately.

 

Does your cruise control work?

Yes, kinda...I can engage it, and it works, but if I hit the brakes, the CC light starts flashing, and I can't re-engage CC by clicking it up/down to resume; I have to turn the cruise off and then back on again.

I have spent the last hour or so scouring the forum and I realize it may be the clock spiral thing or whatever but unfortunately my truck isn't part of the recall for that.

 

That's what I was gonna suggest, is that it may be your clock spring. They're super easy to replace, and not too expensive. You can get a Dorman on Amazon for around $120.

 

I am going to check the connections under the seats tonight, but with the cruise being what it is, I think it is the clock spring. I will keep you updated. I was hoping to retro my lights tomorrow, but it looks like it's going to be spent under the dash.

 

Wasnt that a recall? Could be covered for free if so

 

Any one local have a steering wheel puller? Please don't make me go back to advance auto...
