I have a 2.1" pulley and pushing 8# of boost at 7000 feet with a Snow Performance methanol injection kit running -20° washer fluid and 91 octane fuel. I still have a slight ping issue between 2500 and 3000 rpms and pre-boost that I am trying to solve.

Yeah thats the nature of the beast running 14.5 AFR at high loads and low rpm.. higher octane and pulling timing down low with a AEM FIC..

yeah i could but no reason, you can safely run to 9 afr with meth..

Nah, I'd get several tanks to my washer fluid bottle.. e85 won't improve mpg for this type of application

I don't know if I'm interpreting this wrong but you use washer fluid in the place of methanol?

You can.. as it has alcohol/methanol in it to stop from freezing. But it's a 20/80 mix.. I use my washer fluid tank as a meth tank

    So it's basically 20/80 water/alcohol methanol?

Yes very understandable but we are not speaking of a highly nodded race car.. this is a daily.truck and wasting time to dial in AFR with meth is a lot of work considering when he starts delving I to it he will know what target afr. I used it to keep safe and it was a small price to pay to keep the motor happy. I had no fi control and bandaided lack of with meth and seen the gage travel to 13s at the same settings so my safe zone ranged from 9 to 11 are with meth.

And 1500 was for electronics and go control, meth was just a fun adder

No backwards, so all these methanol companies don't preach to use any more than a 50/50 mix or less on the methanol side, after 50/50 it becomes flammable.. basically running higher than 50/50 is like running around the s3imming pool.. you can do it but it's risky if you fuck up.

Which is why I want the 7th injector. I'm not racing it.. yet.. when I want it to race I will have a second vehicle as a daily driver. 7th injector seems much easier

The sc on 1st gens heats up the air, thats why methanol is so perfect for them.. it condenses the air before which is a lot dif then the 2ng gen sc..

I did the first race wars event. ran 180mph. I ran 9.7 @ 150 1/4th. My bike was gearing limited to 180mph I could have probably hit 185 in the half mile.
