TRD center caps?

Anyone know if any of the trd center caps fit the stock OR or Sport rims?

I was looking at the new pro center caps, I hate how the 'horns' look.

All you gotta do is pop the Toyota emblem off your center cap and stick these on.

Not sure if these fit and there are plenty designs and sizes on eBay. Also some are really cheap like $10 just search TRD center cap sticker

I think he was talking about 17 Pro Caps fitting other 3rd gen wheels.

 

I was wanting to do the samething to my 2016 TRD off road oem center capes but I cannot find the size needed 56mm, 60mm, 63mm. I looked at the above posted link but it using a different center cap. I would like to stay with the 2016 center caps.

Nice! - did you order the same FJ caps as referenced in the 2nd Gen thread?

 

Can't remember if they were FJ specific, I think I got the P/N from a member here. Got them from Amazon as returned items so I paid like $6 for each. P/N is PTR20-35111-BK. And there's a member here that makes vinyl inserts for them.

 

Did you end up needing to do any/much trimming/modification to work on your wheels?

 

Not much really. The diameter of the clips is a little smaller than the diameter of space in the wheel. I pulled out the retaining clip (just a big circle made of wire), bent the clips outward to make the diameter bigger, and spread the retaining clip out so it was a little bigger. They're snug enough that they won't come out unless you grab them and pull. Plenty of highway miles on mine with no problems.

 

Sounds good - found a set of them on Ebay for $50 - -should be here by next Friday. Will put them on initially as black. What do you think about painting them gloss white to match the truck?
