Sounds like she had more issues than just a battery. I’d say the alternator would be the first thing. I had to jump a semi with my Tacoma over the summer. Someone left the lights on for the night.

We connected my truck and let it run with the throttle at about 1500 rpm for a few minutes. To the big truck a second but she finally started.

image.jpg image.jpg Almost as cold in Doylestown, PA as it is in the northernmost town in America (Barrow, Alaska)!

I did read through the intro. That’s awesome. I worked at a family owned bar and grill for about 8 years when I was younger. I loved it. I truly miss the people there. Was always meeting new people, a lot of them are still very close friends today.

That’s mint. I almost went with a regular cab on my last taco but I needed extra room for the dogs. Still one of my dreams is to take a regular cab gen 2 and long travel it.

The truck was a gift from my dad back in 2009. However, with the exception of the rims (also a gift from my dad), I paid for all the mods myself!

I like the intermittent wipers. That’s one thing o wish I did to my gen 2. Blows my mind that they didn’t have them. Love the navigation as well. Adds a lot to the interior.

Oh, you must be in Aroostook County?

My grandma has a lake house in York County.

I’m in Knox county out on the coast. I lived in York county for 6 years. When you asked I thought you meant York county PA. I’m about an hour north of York county Maine. I’m about 1.5 hours north of Portland Maine.

Further proof that towing companies are the scum of the earth. At those prices, I'd just steal my truck back and get a good lawyer (trust me, I know a couple really good attorneys) to represent me in court...

I mean if your vehicle gets towed, that $165 you've gotta pay IN CASH to get it back if you can't get to it until the next day...

Also, I drove to Starbucks from work to pick up drinks for my coworkers (paid for by my boss; I got a hot chocolate!). This is probably not even a 5-minute walk, but it's just so damn cold!

It's located in an old saloon/hotel that dates back to the 18th century!

That is awesome. Love old buildings. We live in a house from the 1800s. Grew up in a 270 year old farm house.
