Ordered this one too back before xmas and still waiting. Curious as to how it will turn out, do need to screw in the front emblem.

 

Got my grille from areyourshop-a today. No broken tabs, no problem with the finish.
It is not the 2 piece pictured when I ordered though, one piece with stick on letters.

Delivery date was dec 21-28th. Just made it.

 

It looks like every other pro grille when you stick them on.

The base of the letter is off obviously, but the contrast between the black and dark grey isn't that great and can easily be fixed. I just stuck the letters on it and its not that big of deal. Not sure if I return it, or deal with it. I don't want to send it back and get chinese condoms or something...

I bought mine from areyourshop-a on the 18th. Delivery window was the 21-28. Still havent received it. Tracking still says Origin Post is preparing for shipment.

 

Yeah when you look at them individually in your hand its pretty obvious, stuck on the grille its nothing. I figured I will have road salt and dead bugs to help blend it in after a while anyways.

 

I'd give it to the end of the day and then send an email tomorrow. Mine said it was in china for the longest time, then chicago, then my front porch. Good luck.

 

That's a fair assessment. Although I shouldn't be in any rush since its pretty much below 0 degrees outside lol.

Edit: Spoke too soon. Checked tracking on USPS and it just reached New York.

My areyourshop-a ordered 12/20 has been showing as in china until just now. Scanned in Chicago. I assumed the holiday+the weekend delayed updates. Happy to see where it is, guessing I'll have it Saturday at the earliest.

I’d rather have the LED light kit ... I have never tried a Chinese condom.

I ordered a fake pro grille and got exactly that. Yes my original ad had the 2 piece and I received the single with stick on letters. I'm not sure that there is any appreciable difference once either grille is mounted in the truck. I am 100% sure that chasing some Chinese exporter through the Netherlands of eBay would be fun, but it would ultimately be a huge waste of my time. My grille is 10/10 and I'm not sure it's worth the risk and time of trying to get a 2 piece which has no advantage anyways.

 

Yeah this grille is all about form, not function. If it looks close enough to the real deal that nobody can tell without getting real up close and personal, then it's doing its job. It has no other real function other than to block things from striking the radiators.

 

Welp.... Just got my 1 piece from areyourshop-a. As expected it sucks and I’ve opened up a case. Why oh why did I expect everything to go smooth? I really wish it would have been the 2 piece. Maybe I should buy a real one? How do I feel better about this?
