2nd and last tier of concrete block and steel retaining wall anchor installed. Tomorrow is finish backfilling then get ready to haul brush. It was decided to have one area for brush burning so all the brush piles have to be hauled to that spot. And since they want to burn in February, time is running out quickly.

Not sure that I've ever seen that much construction effort go into a picnic area. Wow.

It's a fee area. It pays for itself and all the maintenance and upkeep. But most of the materials are either leftover from other projects or stuff that's been here since before I got here. I put about $75 in the rebar and another $75 in the "all thread". Since the hauls were short, between the dump truck, loader and excavator I have about $100 in fuel. So it's really not too bad considering the potential cost of having a wall topple onto someone.

I'd guess about 40. With all the other stuff we do (responding to other "emergencies", travel time, meetings, etc), it's really hard to stick to one job and see it through without interruptions.
