Yessir. I took it off though I never got it to tune right. The SWR was really high and I never solved it, I even tried adding a grounding strap didn't help very much.

When I drove up to Reno to pick up the tranny I used one of those magnetic antennas.

Nice work brother. For any small / medium removable parts with more than one bolt I use plastic wrap to keep everything in the right holes - it makes it pretty idiotproof when reassembling (helps this guy).

Great idea. I heard some people use holes in cardboard to do it too

I did that with the engine I tore down to the block. Plastic wrap is way faster for some things lol.

We need another update @BartMaster1234. How have things progressed since you last came up for air?

I got the call, my bed is done at the body shop. I can't wait to get this truck back together. If all goes well I'll drive it to my work where they have a heated shop and put this thing together. It's been without a bed since the end of November

That blue speedometer needle looks great. I read the write up on doing it, seems real easy to f—- up without a steady hand.

Has anyone on here gotten the p1300 code? I've checked about everything and I've narrowed it to a lucky guess of having a bad ECU

What your secret to having such a rust free frame, has it been in Indiana all its life?

I have some sort of goofy ability to remember what the bolts look like that go to what, didn't catalog any bolts putting my beater back together. Had a bag for tranny related stuff and one for engine related stuff, all the interior ones i dumped on the floor. I can just remember what they looked like I guess.

Wish I had that skill. I told my buddy to remove the skid plate and while he did, I have no idea what bolt goes to what.

Those are all M8 fasteners with 12mm heads and not much longer than 3/4"

Not much. Had to run some errands and haven't been back yet. Working on it again tonight.

I just have to drive veeeeerrrryyy carefully in the Civic. If I crash into anything or I get pulled over I'm boned. God damn California and their damn SMOG checks. Can't transfer the title to my name and get it insured until I get it SMOG'd.

If you use the energy suspension you reuse the sleeve in the lower control arm. You just burn them out. (avoid the toxic smoke) Then use a wire wheel on a drill that will fit inside the sleeve to clean the old rubber out. Wipe it out with acetone last.

    You mean the skid bolts?

13mm x3 across the front. 12mm x2 middle of front skid. 12mm x2 middle of back skid.

    (If I am remembering correctly)

The Energy Suspension uses the old sleeves, cups and washers... The Whitelines are a MUCH better product.

But the Energy Suspension is better than the rubber OEM junk.
