I've got a lot of logistics to work out. This falls dangerously close to my wife gearing up to deploy which means I'll need time in the office before I start working remotely. Personally, I'd prefer to just to a day of expo and spend more time exploring. I've spent some time working out a route through Gila NF and parts of the Arizona BDR as well as North Rim and Toroweap.

If everything falls into place, I'm in af.

 

I have been thinking the same.
1 day of Expo and spend the rest exploring.

 

If we were able to front-load it and do most of the travel the week before the expo, I could probably make it work. That should give me a couple days back in the office if needed. Regardless, I'd absolutely have to be back home by the 24th.

 

My thoughts were start West evening of the 15th, run 4-5hrs, crash somewhere for the night, hit it hard the next day and arrive late on 15th

Heading out to Shaffer Bend today for the weekend to bring in the New Year! It's going to be cold!!! I'm going to be smart and leave the Tacoma and tent home. I'm taking the FWC.
Buds will be in 4Runner and Tacoma both with RTTs. I learned in the USMC it's easy to be HARD but Hard to be smart Wish us Blue skies at least

 

This is relevant to my interests... Not sure when I'm supposed to be in Barcelona I know it's around those dates. If I'm CONUS I'll definitely go

 

Good morning from Philmont Scout Ranch.

There are 4 troops here for Winter Adventure and all 4 are from Texas. It is currently 33° with No Snow.

They are going to take us and drop us off near the top of Baldy at about 11,000 feet. Supposedly there is snow up there.

 

Dude...I should not like this. Y'all are nuts.

Guys! I got a job! I'll be starting as a receptionist at a collision center near me. The owner said she wants to see how I do learning their systems and train me to take over managing the office and all the accounting for her in the nexr year or so.

Definitely not a high paying job but the hours are pretty good and it feels so good to be getting back to work.

My painters never showed up so our house isn't done yet unfortunately but it would be amazing to start the new year with my house 100% and ready to start my new job. Fingers crossed!
