I put together my master list for both vehicles for what I want to do to them this morning. I think I'm going much more mellow than I ever have, but I still need a second job to fund it.

    First world problems.

Having babies well into your 40s isn't uncommon these days, unless you're a lot older than I thought you'd be. My parents were 40 when they had me and I turned out (relatively) normal.

I know how you feel, If i could keep finding massive parts groups that I can sell for profit I would be in luck, but after the new year I will be applying for part time work.

Egg count and quality go down significantly after 35, and exponentially decrease after that

I think because of that, you get "special" treatment throughout your pregnancy, because you're considered 'high risk". You get extra testing done, more check ups, etc.

The new Jeep price was good enough, less than invoice and split the hold back with me getting more. The issue is the trade value, we are 5k apart. He suggested carmax, plus I did the KBB cash offer now

Yeah. My wife just turned 35 a few months after baby and we definitely had more appointments than the average couple, but baby is perfectly healthy. Risks do go up, but it's still possible to have a normal baby. We luckily didn't have any trouble conceiving either.

Glad to hear everything went well! But yeah, just because of the "high risk" label it doesn't mean it's not possible, @DoubleRGirl . You can do it!!!!!!!!!!!

You're right, more to go wrong with the type I mentioned than the hydronic. We have a couple of the quartz ones at home and at my office and they have more safety crap built into them now more than ever. I tried propping one up to blow air in a certain direction and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work. There was a fairly sensitive safety switch built into it that would only let it operate if it was sitting vertical. It's a good idea, just pissed me off because I was trying to aim it at what I was spray painting in the basement.
They're neutered, how would you ever know? When you leave, it's probably like a sex dungeon down there. 50 shades of dog fur.
Have you driven it? My dad just bought a new-to-him 2014 and I'm not a fan. It's very smooth and quiet but feels very sluggish.
    Redneck :D

You had a 2500 though, right?

Doesn't help the FJs windshield is vertical. It's a day me rock magnet. Somehow mine is still the original Toyota glass.

Bigger V8, you mean the 6.2 or the 5.3? I'd like to drive one with the 6.2 but I think they only come as an option on the LTZ and Denali models. Slightly out of my price range.

I liked the older Sierra with the 6.0. Last one I've driven is a 2014 with the 5.3. Not that quick and can't make up it's mind which gear to be in.

I believe his is an slt? I don't know gmc trims that well. I've driven a 5.3 too and didn't think it was under powered. But I think the truck as also modified

That was my experience as well. It kept trying to jump to higher gears quickly and seemed torn between getting to a higher gear or responding to me burying my foot on the skinny pedal. Once it held a gear and let the engine rev, the 5.3 does have good power. It's just too clunky for me. To be fair though, I'm also coming from an F150 that I tuned all of the throttle lag out of but I still don't remember it being that bad in stock form.

I had that issue with my ex's f150 v6 non eco boost. Constant gear hunting
