    I've been going back and forth on continuing to lurk or introducing myself so here I am.

    I've had my truck for almost a year and I love it so much! My previous vehicle was my grandpa's 1993 F150 and I drove that from when I got into driver's ed until the beginning of January 2017. My Ford had been rode hard and put up wet and after 180, 000 miles I needed something different. A full size truck was more than I needed and didn't necessarily go everywhere I wanted to go. After looking at Jeeps for a while my mom talked me into a Tacoma, and I guess mothers really do know best. One day the exact thing I wanted showed up at the lot (TRD Off Road, 4 door, short bed) and it already had a little lift kit and oversized tires. I jumped on it and haven't looked back!

    It had the factory roof rack on already and a week or two ago my dad and I got a basket roof rack put on so we have more room for camping gear (I'm not filling the entire back seat with gear because my pup needs somewhere to sit). I got some boxes today and hopefully this weekend we can get some U bolts and secure the boxes to the new rack. I don't have a tool box because I never found one for the bed that I liked and was within my budget. Plus, having a short bed I kind of didn't want to have even less bed space with a tool box back there. So rack boxes seemed like a decent answer. I got a light bar for Christmas from my family so hopefully that will go on this weekend too. I've been lurking here looking at wire routing options.

    I'm hoping to do more off roading and camping with my dad (and my dog) and just generally getting away and learning more about my vehicle.

    I guess that's it? I've written this like 3 times because I honestly don't know what to really say.

    Most of my other creatures are adopted or strays, but my current copilot is a pure bred Chesapeake Bay Retriever I ended up with for free. Nobody wanted any out of this litter because they weren't AKC certified. So it got to the point the breeder needed them gone so they were free. The crazy part is it was a guy I knew when I was a little kid, family friend, and then my parents and him lost contact. I've her Hey Man, like the baboon in Rock of Ages because my dad thought our next critter should be called Hey Man

    I wish I knew! I haven't looked too closely, so I just know it has 2" maybe 2.5" lift kit on it
