Yea I Can only take one weekday off work, so main event it is on Friday. Arrive early morning camp elsewhere that night and wheel nearby or check out what’s left on Saturday

Ill be there. Wednesday is stupidly boring, so that’s the day I would go out exploring and wheeling. Thursday and Friday are both fun to watch.

So I can't make it all the way out to JT this weekend but I want to do a last bit of wheeling before the end of 2017...the lady and I are thinking of doing Drinkwater flats tomorrow if any of you guys are up for a 3 - 4 hour run.

Not sure yet, was going to see if there was any more interest but probably looking at starting from the San Francisquito side around 11am or noon, ending on Bouquet no later than 4.

Ok. I am free around that time. Let me see how my night goes. I am at a birthday party at the moment. Not sure if I want to go fishing or wheeling yet. Lol

Sounds good but I should mention that the entrance is definitely a 4x4 only climb...from there though most of Drinkwater is doable in 2wd until you get to the last really big hill climb that takes you to the fire road out. I'd say that's 4x4 as well, but there are other fire roads in the area that might lead to other exits/entrances, I'm not sure (haven't explored those much).

My driver's side inner CV boot is leaking grease from where it clamps to the axle, presumably due to the higher angles now since I put the Kings on...and I've developed a new mystery clunk when turning to the right so I don't want to venture too far off the beaten path until I put the diff drop in that I ordered yesterday.

yup, that's the one...the entrance is very rutted and a steep climb/corner then that last hill climb is really long and steep with a lot of loose rock. Down in the valley though there are those fire roads where everyone switches back to 4hi and does their go-fast thing, I imagine there are ways in/out of the area via those roads
