New shoes today. 255/85/r16 Cooper Discoverer S/Ts. Haven't driven them much yet, but they're quieter than I was expecting.

It will be a shame to scratch it, but out with the old in with the new. The box was repainted outside, inside, underside, front side like it came from the factory. My old box started rotting along one of the bed seams by the wheel well floor. The white specs are snow.

Are you by chance running spacers with those 2nd gen wheels? Because I am and I'm thinking of taking them off if their not needed. Tires look good though. Any lift?

I've had these Husky rubber floor mats for 6 months and I really like them, but they constantly slide forward while driving and it's annoying. I thought about securing them to the floor with a bolt through the location of the factory floor mat hook, but instead I ended up trimming the edge so it would fit underneath the plastic sill plate. I unbuttoned the sill plate's 4 screws, tucked the edge of the floor mat in, and secured the sill plate back in place. I'm quite happy with not needing the drill a hole in the floor of my truck. Side note: Anyone know about getting a new door gasket to replace the torn one I have?

    I believe you’re looking for part #
    6231204030. I saw it online for $115.

I would ask Gunny for pricing after you’ve confirmed that’s what you’re after:

Didn't really do much to the truck, but it got to play in a little bit of snow at the farm today....

Those are 2nd gen wheels?! They came on the truck when I bought them- thought they were original. No spacers though, and I have a 3" lift.

Cool. I think they look better than the stock wheels. Apparently those have a different backspacing than gen 1 wheels so they sit closer to the uca's

Well, last second trip popped up so I'm getting the truck ready to ship out tomorrow. Rewiring the CB the right way...

I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I'm going to put all the trimming on in the morning, flares, mud flaps, wheel well liners. I bought new emblems for the tailgate too. I plan to Waxoyl the piss out of the areas where these are prone to rusting.

Good idea, that sheet metal crossmember and the edge seams are the most prone it seems. Who did the prep work, usually the inside of a used bed doesn't look that smooth even after a repaint

I bought a bed out of a dry climate that had a Toyota bed liner from day one. I did want anything that looked like it was used for hauling away concrete demo debris or that had done time in saltville. I was so anal I carfaxed the VIN of the truck it came of.
