Interesting.....never heard of that or seen any issues with mine. I've literally had ZERO problems with my truck except having to replace the battery. :notsure: *knocks on wood*

You might want to look it up. There is a precautionary fix I believe.

Wonder if it has to do with your new sleeping position.

I cheated and heated it up with a heat gun and stretched it a bit. It has fallen back down again. Can’t figure out why because it went back to normal after heating.

After skimming that thread it seems like more then just the 2012s have the problem, but thanks for the info and link.

Parts go bad, it happens. I'm actually happily surprised I still haven't had to change out anything in my truck with 75k+ miles. (Still have the original belt :anonymous:)

I broke my shoulder years again so I know your pain. Have they had you walk your hand up a wall like a spider above your head? That really sucked.

They changed the design after 2012. A one year only problem. Although problems have occurred on later years. Happened to my friends 2012 and cost him a bunch. One of the reasons I want a pre 2012.

I saw them post a few hiring ads for ie. That's cool. Never really understood why they move to Montana as a business.

Seems like that would be a great use of a Toyota TSB if it was a known 1 year problem. Wouldn't that be nice  I'll have to read up on that thread when I have some time. From your friends experience, was it an immediate failure or was there signs of part failure that got worse over time?
