Had a bit of an adventure today leaving work. Came up on a group of snowmobile riders talking to a guy. He had put his truck in the ditch and lost the radiator cap as it had over heated. Had walked about 3 miles. I offered to give him a ride to town as u was headed there anyways .

It's snowing pretty bad but worse is you can't hardly see the freaking road it's so cloudy and snowy. Well onky a mile from the highway I put igor in the ditch in about 3'-4' of snow and a 6' difference.

Lucky for me another person was coming the other way and we had igor out in about 10 mins.

Took the guy home and drove home.

This snow storm is nuts.


Headed to powell now.

Yea it's nice they have a used one on the lot.

 

Used to it now haha been driving like this all month. About done with it though! Always an adventure

 

I read something the other day about Ford figuring out what the headgasket issue with them was so hopefully their will be a fix.

 

Used. I'll have him look into it. I would never buy a used car like the RS but it's not my decision.

 

Disclaimer: I have only made to this point on like 30’pages of catch-up on the thread, CBI keeps a couple of their Moab bumpers in stock at all times, at least last time I talked to them and if you buy the headlight loops separately you can weld them on at an angle like the relentless. I’ve seen a couple of guys do this, also Idaho Falls would only be a days drive for you.... back to reading

 

This is what we did for grants. Took a week to ship but got here in two days.

Not a fan of that bumper though. It's not bad but never been my favorite.

Have fun! We're headed back from the state of the Valley of Death in a couple days. Unfortunately, no dirt for us on this trip.

Gonna have lots of fun, didn't really realize how close Death Valley is to Phoenix. Also why were you in Cali?

 

Family lives down in the Bay Area. I'm thinking we'll do a DV trip in a month or so - great time of year to do it when it's not so dang hot.

 

Funny part is I have another one planned in March with some family friends but this sounded like a great opportunity to explore even more. Seems like the weather is gonna be great.

Found out why my radio just wouldn't tune last trip. Antenna was busted, must've broke in the rollover. Bought a new one and I'm right at 1.2-1.3 swr again
