Taking that fender piece off is a pita had too loosen and lift the back clip as they put it and the handles on before they set the clip on . One bolt to the back no access. Redesigned it is going to be a interference fit pin and grommet . It has 3 bolts holding it in front .

Damn Andy that is the hardest part. My mother went downhill hard mentally after the Stroke but then got better, almost normal mentally for a couple of years. But the last couple of months she is really sliding fast. Doesn't remember much or any of us talking to her or my sisters visiting. I will call her this weekend and I talked to her on Christmas but sure she will ask why I haven't called in so long. And she repeats herself often. Your right it is rough and she isn't as bad as your mother but that is coming soon. Good luck Andy, my thoughts are with you it is difficult to watch.

We had a similar situation with my mother in law a couple years ago. She would remember things then the next minute not. It really hit my wife hard cause she wasn’t the mom my wife had grown up with. With my mother in law it was a slow transition over a number of years. We didn’t really think about some of the quirky reactions at the time but latter on it started making sense.

"I don't feel good. Your gonna have to take your dad with you or he's gonna have to go home" Oh hell. Dad is up visiting for a couple days. Great. I have to take a truck to phoenix to put it in the body shop today. I have to get going soon (should be gone already) and he doesn't want to wake up.

    Damn,
That sucks not the best word to describe it but it is all I got. Friends of mine whose father had early onset Alzheimer's made a 3 ring binder with pictures of him and all the family members as best they could ( some I was told had to be photo shopped husband and wives and kids etc ) Put their full names and birthday under each person . Along with favorite locations home, parks etc so they could show him when he got confused and frustrated . The also filled out a calendar to put in the front with a list of important dates bday, aniv etc . When it came time to go to assisted living the binder went with him so the nurses could use it to help him try to retain things.

And for the record Mother nature is being a bitch again cold yeah whatever but .. it snowed last night a dusting just enough to screw with me damn it I want to play with the tractor in the snow !

Though, he came over and gave me hand removing the rear clip on the tractor the bastard took apart his side and then bailed before I put it back together and it was a bitch lol .

Oil change is done. Wood stove is now going in the basement - I'll be puttering around down there in a bit.

Memory loss is heartbreaking for all involved. It can get frustrating too. My Mom has hardening of the arteries in her brain which is causing memory loss. She'll get angry thinking we didn't tell her something if we talk about it after whatever it is happens.

Sorry. Get well soon. Snow started around 8 up here and the road is covered.

    Good day all

    Cold, cold, cold
Dogs are spending a lot of time in the house.
They are so good. No barking, no pooping or peeing.
My mom has had 2 strokes and a heart attack in the pass 13 months. Health wise she's doing good, but at xmas I notice she was not rememberin somethings. I notice the changes because I don't see her every day, 2 brothers see her everyday and don't see it.

Don't forget to get our lottery tickets.
