Just saw garbage truck go by.
    Pickup was delayed 1 day.

Yeah I got lucky the other day and remembered the day delay. Look at the bright side, in this cold nothing is going to smell sitting in there :p

Driveway done ended up breaking out the snowblower to finish the end up by the road. ALMOST thought for a minute that it looked pretty then looked over and realized I hadn't shoveled the steps and landing yet. Or deck. Damn snow. Can almost feel my toes now so warm shower and head to town for chili fixings. Should make a ham bone soup while I am at it.

National Weather Service alert for the third day in row warning about Sunday. Forecast is a low of 18* and 20% chance of something falling from the sky. I know you guys up North laugh at this.

Yeah we’re looking at 50’s & 60’s witch cools the Gulf of Mexico down. That’s important for storm season. Layer up Kevin.

Thanks, hope all is well with you Mike. Posting Beach pictures on here is a sensitive topic! Especially this time of year. I was told to stop. Lol! Stay warm Mike.

    piddly stuff
Well the car was a flop. The list of needed repairs was so long I wouldn't have known where to begin. From what i can remember it needed 2 motor mounts, steering rack, Cv axles, belts, exhaust, and a bunch of other stuff. i was up to $1800 just in parts and they were going to get them at wholesale. i paid for the service but they agreed with me to put that much into a 24 year old Accord would be a poor decision and we hadn't even discussed labor on anything i couldn't do myself. I left the estimate with Christie to give to her bosses in case they wanted to fix anything. The bad part to me is some of this will have to be fixed to pass inspection. Then I find out she has no working oven or stove it just keeps getting deeper
