You're gonna love your MX4. I didn't install the two drain lines. No significant water from not doing so. The one thing I recommend is to trim the self installed gasket on the head rail so it fits "underneath" the MX5 gasket. The wingnut that I spoke to at Real Trucks either didn't understand the question or was completely unfamiliar with the product. The original guy I ordered it from was very knowledgeable about it but it was not a question at the time. Seemed as though I should have cut it to fit underneath on install but since I had no experience with this cover thought it better to ask than make a cut I would be sorry for later. I erred on the side of caution since his advice made no reasonable sense to me and cut it longer. Then after looking at it and thinking about it cut it so it fit under the covers gasket. Duhh!
I guess what I'm saying is be confident that the sales person you talk to is knowledgable on the product you are buying before taking their advice.
Wish I could have gotten the same sales person that sold it to me initially, he knew his chit!
No harm, no foul, common sense prevailed.

Did the Subaru kicker tweeter upgrade. Big improvement in the higher range. Didn't remove the A piller cover, just be careful with the clips if you do it this way. The passenger side has a clip that hooks up under the piller cover, just have to flex the tweeter cover to get it out.

RedArc dual battery system, AluCab canopy, Prinsu rack fore and aft Planned: Mobtown recovery bar and full steel skids, light bar on rack and BD amber fog replacements, ham radio and antennae, SPOD system, 12 gallon water tank integrated with bed drawer system
An update on my bed drawer project. Built the drawers and positioned the bearing drawer slides to accommodate 1 inch steel square bar, which will be fastened to sides of drawers. Two independent bed sliders will ride on the upper course of bearings. The water tank is in the back (next to my daughter), and the water pump and air compressor will be in the space adjacent (next to my son). Next step is to build the sliders. I’m going to use walnut ply drawer fronts, so it should look pretty classy when finished.

Warrantied my winch and got a new motor, so I finally got synthetic line wrapped on it.. a lot more reassuring to have than a come-along. It's still only a hitch mount on the rear but it's better than nothin. I also mounted a cobra 19 on the front passenger side of the center console, now I have to route the coax cable. Ordered a full set of tire chains.

Put on graphics from import equipment.com. I liked these I had seen on other Pros, and my bedside was too plain for me without a decal. Great customer service at importequipment, they helped out after I had an issue with the first one they sent.

Good advice but I think @Deucailion meant that he got a Bakflip Revolver X2 which I have too. It doesn't have any of the things you mentioned (such as MX5 gasket or drain tubes). ;)

What made you decide on the revolver x2 vs the mx4? I’m looking at those two.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Installed my new V3's from @mesojdm replacing the V2's. Both are great but V3's are much more visible especially during the day.

Did the v3 turn signal mod. With accompanying obligatory photos. I might be the first to show them on BBP.

AfterD20A51D1-6AA4-4CEC-848B-6FE2E7BCFC6E.jpg Like the look. No more chrome. Seems good quality. The weather seals were much better than OEM.
Ordered them on the 12/27 got them today.
Install was very easy, but hearing the snap/crack when pulling the covers is a little unsettling, as everyone has said. But no harm done.

There is also a new Revolver X4. It has the same texture/surface as the MX4. It was introduced at SEMA I believe.

I have a Bak Revolver X2 installed on my DCSB and live in southern Ontario, and I am also familiar with Minneapolis winter weather. My only real caution with the Revolver X2 is it sometime is hard to open, and roll up in freezing winter conditions. In the summer it is fine, and it opens and rolls up easily. A trifold may open more easily in the winter. Other than that, I like the Revolver. It is better built than an Undercover Flex I had on another truck. I don't think there is a perfect tonneau cover for a 4 season climate. They all have advantages and disadvantages.
