Yeah, decided on headed up there Saturday. Leaving San Jose around 7ish. Got a friend with a stock jeep Cherokee who's tagging along.

What's the probability of pinstriping, I could careless, but my friends jeep is new.

Camping one last time the other night with Repo. North of hwy 70 in Plumas County, NE of Portola in the Crocker CG. Too muddy by the picnic table and firering, so I tailgated. 19F Thursday morning. Love the steam off the coffee pot, looks like a small fire on the tailgate. Used a rare Campus 2 stove and a Primus 41 stove from my stove collection. Tent was a old Sierra Designs Halfmoon i rarely use, its worn out. Building is where firefighters bunk in the summer fire season.

Both use kerosene. Most of my over 100 do. Working on repainting a Coleman model 1 now. Two burner. Not the best of shape, it needed a couple spots welded, rust pitting.

Yes, six miles north of hwy 70, take off where the restaurant used to be, a church now if not familiar.. Paved now as of a couple years ago, but not that much further. Popular for adventure bike riders.

I'm surprised it's still there. There's a small dry camp out that way too.

Spots here and there, have not checked them out. I took my dual sport motorcycle on a two day trip before I got my pup, went from Frenchman Lake to the Genesee Valley, took over an hour, neat geology along the way. Went to Butt Lake west of Lake Almanor from there.

That’s a fantastic spot. Whenever I go backpacking or climbing on the East Side I stop by there for a soak.

    Edit... What he said /\.

Kinda like a jigger, and you know what that is, right!

Seriously, using mine as a pattern, already shaped with the bends, less the the fact of test fitting for +/- in the bends, due to flatting them back out from Hammering down on them, again you know what that is, right.
I can do the reinforcing as I'm on my 3rd cutting back on this one for clearance, now reinforcing it AGAIN.
