That's a regular school week for me. I only go Thursdays and Fridays. And to make matters worse, it's only 2 hours Thursday and 3 hours Friday. Everything else is done in packet work at home.

How much time do you spend on "homework" each day?

Well, to understand this - you'd need to understand how the school works. I'm on the indepentant study track of my school - which is a charter school. I'm also enrolled in the 260-credit college-prep plan. My school doesn't distinguish between honors courses and AP courses. You're either on the regular plan or college prep plan (the CP plan, being equivilian to taking all honors courses).

Your courses such as english, social studies, government, literature and so on are done in packets which you take home and complete. I've never timed how much "homework" I do a week, so I can't really answer it in that fashion.

Other courses, such as math and computers are done in labs at the school. I'm required to do 3 years of math and 4 years of computers. All "labs" are structured so that you work in the lab 4 hours a week till the courses are completed. I had 3 of my computer years completed in a few months, and I'm waiting to start an online-version of a condensed advanced computer course for the last two years of work. In math, I'm finished with one year already, and am on my second (Geometrey A & B), which will take less than a year to complete.

Then there are certain courses, such as foreign language and science courses, which the school doesn't offer directly. We have an agreement with the local Palomar College campus, and we enroll there to take them. One semester of a community college course equals one year in high school terms.

Sorry if that was too much. I like to talk. :D

Ok I'm still jealous. I always wanted to go to a charter school, I just never got around to it.

I was lucky enough to hear about it before I started high school. It was well worth it - especially at the specific school I'm at.

Private school is where it's at. Although public high school is the best, IMO.

    I hate high school. :(

I'm just bored of it. I want to move on.
