I'm already getting like 16mpg highway, not sure I can take the hit on 285s with the amount of driving I do.

Any tire of a decent size and quality will hit the mpgs some. I run the XL version and not the E range. They are about the same a C range but you don't get dinged on the excise tax.

My hunch is I could end up in Vancouver by the border of Oregon or Bellingham

Bellingham is pretty great, especially the surrounding areas. Lots of great forest land to explore plus Mt.Baker, the greatest snowboarding spot in the U.S. there is also Casa que pasa in downtown B'Ham, home of the Tequila research institute and the birth place of the potato burrito.

    Well that doesn’t sound terrible.

Plus I like the fact that I’m close to the border of Canada. Would totally enjoy taking a week vacation and head up there for some exploring

Yeah I'd suggest you avoid mud terrains, the Cooper ATP is a great tire from what I've read. Hell even my les Schwab xtx's perform great even aired down to 15psi. Granted they are a LR E. Still a heavy tire for 265/75-16.

Do you think you could strap down 150lbs worth of kayaks to the top of that? And might it be possible to open the tent with them still on there?

Anyone interested in a set of CS047R Dakar springs?

A little over a year old. I had the swapped for heavy duty springs.

The drivers side was sitting slightly low compared to the passenger.

250 for the pair? 225? Im not sure what to ask.

Hey who is the white truck in the background in the middle pic? I'm pretty sure he works close to me, we pass each other all the time on the ballard bridge/ around fishermans terminal.

You might be thinking of Hans, he works at Adventure Ready and that does kind of look like his whip.
