Already gave away all the parts I’m not using. Tiny tires are long gone

I had someone local lined up so I could take measurements and do exactly that, however, they flaked and I've been too busy with other projects to find a replacement. Got a replacement in mind?

Any advice for working around the wire for the rear window motor on a third gen? I pulled the clip and tucked the wire back under the plastic, but don't have any more slack. Help!

Question: Since it will be hidden by the new panel is there a way that you could allow it to drop down a bit instead of making that 90° turn? If that allows you the slack you desire you can just tape the sheath to the cab wall or panel to keep it from rattling on bumpy roads. I haven't seen one on a 3rd gen so I may have no clue what I'm talking about.

I don't know how that system works as I've never played with one but I'd think that keeping kinks out of it will promote smooth operation. I hide allot of stuff behind my panel but really do suggest the taping down of stuff as the rattling will annoy you. I speak from experience on that one.

And for those that are on the fence about this, just do it. Claim the storage behind your back seats back and ditch those useless plastic tubs.

To avoid kinks, I almost need to keep it that way. There isn't really to sharp of a bend anywhere...I'm trying to smooth it out actually. Circled is where the clip originally was attached. The entire surface is too flat to cross with the cable.

Don't use duct tape for cabling, use electrical.

Also is the cable in the way of installing it? Or is it just unsightly?

I get it now, I was assuming that what I saw was the beginning of a 90° bend but the larger loop makes sense from a binding point of view. Have you tried to pull that loop down lower to get it out of that corner? Maybe pin it down with tape in a few different places to see if you can make it clear easier and not bind when in use.

The other option if you have to keep it in the stock route is to massage the corner of the panel a bit to accommodate it. Regardless of the route you take please take the time to document it and share here for others so they learn from your experiences.

I noticed that. What have others done? It vents to the outside. Noticeably louder in the cab without that rear seat. I do have sound deadening material

I have foam stuffed in mine.
My concern is it rattling if in contact with the panel, or rattle if not firmly pressed against the wall. If u put the seatback in wrong and it doesnt FIRMLY press on that stupid vent, itll rattle. I havent installed my panel yet as i need to order bolts. My access cab has none back there, well.... maybe 2, but the lower child rest hoop is welded on mine, so thats 2 less bolts i have.
That vent also appears to be placed in before the bed is attached. U can pop it out from the cab about 2" and then its hung up on the bed. Its finicky, rattles if not enough pressure, and im afraid itll rattle if in contact with the panel, but that may not happen. Ive yet to test fit the panel.

My tracking number is giving the same message. Did everyone in GB#6 ship? Or are some still waiting to be dropped off/picked up by UPS. I see some people have gotten theirs.
