    Careful with the mirror covers in the cold. We’re only around zero here but I’ve had my covers off a couple dozen times and I’m telling you, in the cold the clips don’t bend nearly as well. They are certainly more brittle. My turn signals have 1/2” of ice on them as we have brutal freezing rain. So far they seem ok but once it thaws I’ll know better. I have VLEDS waiting to go in as well.

    I can tell you as well clean the covers while you have em’ apart and treat them and the turn signals with a couple coats of Jet Seal. That stuff is insane good.

    I will add that those of you that had extra wire to work with were very lucky. On my truck, there was no extra and getting that around that clip was not easy.

    So has anyone upgraded their sr5 yet? Looking at getting the flat black mirror you see online for my MGM. Does anyone know if the wiring harness bolts right up (sr5s are heated but not turning signal)on orf you have to isolate the turn signal and solder it in to the controller on the steering wheel.

    So I couldn't wait any longer to see how they look. So got a piece of speaker wire, connected to a 9v battery and hey they light! Nice color to them! Can't wait to actually install
