How did you decide on a color for your 3rd gen?

Just in the process of figuring out what I want.

Really like the looks of the TRD Off-Road with Barcelona Red but I’m a big fan of the scoop.

Just wondering what you guys bought and if you wish you would have went a different route

 

I went with the Barcelona Red TRD OR and I love it. At first, my friend had to talk me into the red because I wanted Blue or Black, but now I am stoked I got my Barcelona. I personally think it’s the best one out there. I did a Hood Swap for my Hood Scoop.

 

You should test drive both, as the OR and Sport have different suspensions. In my opinion, if they're the same price and you're a practical person, buy the OR. The most notable trade-off is a rear locker vs. a non-functional hood scoop. You also get Multi-terrain Select/Crawl Control or A-TRAC (MT) on the OR.

 

The offroad lacks something in the front since it doesn't have a hood scoop. I am glad I went with the OR and added a bug visor to balance the look out. Everyone knows, red is the faster color.

 

That looks awesome! I always thought I hated red but that Barcelona color is awesome. And the black fenders looks really good.

Yeah I thought I was crazy thinking the OR actually rode nicer than the Sport. But I really like the ride of the OR over the Sport, just need to find out how to get a hood scoop and I’ll be set

Favorite color? Well..........my First-grade crayon box only had 8 crayons in it. Most of them were broken too. I suppose I consider myself lucky to have had shoes, at least in the winter.

Because of that, I am colorblind to a wide variety of colors: I cannot see Mauve, Magenta, Teal, Ecru, Fuchsia, Azure, Umber, Ochre......you get the picture.

Yes I am superficial, and I prefer looks to functionality. Can’t tell if I like the black fenders on the OR or if they look cheap? I doubt I’ll ever really use the crawl control.

But damn is that completely useless scewp sexy
