I have a 2008 TRD Off-Road...I found this answer somewhere else on the forum, but I can't seem to find it (yes, even with the search), so I just want to double check.

I just bought the Flowmaster 40 Series muffler on ebay, it's the 2.5" Off-center one...I should be able to take this into a muffler shop and have then install no problems, right? How much should I expect to pay for the install? Also will I have any warranty issues with this? The truck is a lease...

    Thanks guys.

Id say $40 for labor. I don't know about lease issues. But I wouldn't mod a lease. There should be no probs on the install. They have all the couplers, step up and step down pipes, etc.

Kind of a waste of money to mod a lease. Unless you plan to purchase at the end of the lease.

First off welcome to the site! Second there is no way that a muffler install will void your warranty.

    Thanks for the reply guys..

I do plan on buying the truck at the end of the lease, unless there is something really wrong with it, or I'm totally broke, or the latest model is way better....but even then, I don't think a $60 muffler w/$40 install to make my truck sound a little nicer over the next three years is much of a waste. Afterall, I'm still at the beginning of the lease term (or three months in) so i've got a long time to enjoy it...everything else I plan to do to it will be removable, so just in case i can sell the parts...

    GO WINGS
