...^^^... Our great leaders make these decisions and they are very divided between the cities, counties, and state governments.

careful when it comes time to wash the truck afterwards. I'd make sure it was rinsed off a few times prior to soaping it up with a sponge.

I'm leaving it alone for now, don't need moisture reacting to the ash...

I want to do this in the worst way, but to an old VW beetle with a set of ATV tracks on the back.

This anyone here? Guy pulled up in a Tacoma while Reed Timmer was in Erie PA yesterday. Think he was out just driving around in the snow . Which is definitely something a Tacomaworld member would be doing in that snow!20171231_074145.jpg

We had about an inch of snow in NoVA yesterday morning when i got up. Didnt know it was even supposed to snow.

On another note, i learned from this thread that there is something called a roof rake. Couldve used one of those a couple years ago with the 3 foot snow we had. Either way, Amazon will be bringing me one in about 2 days :) might be able to use it once in 10 years, but would rather have and not need... (I get vertigo and roofs arent my friend)

I’m able to rake my 2 story roof from the ground. I just bought 2 of them and put them together. A little tricky to get it on the roof but I’m not on the roof. If you have vertigo then it’s safer on the ground man

I roof rake after each snow event. I'll only do the lower 2-3' of the roof, primary to keep that area clean so my gutters can more effectively drain. Even below freezing, I'll get some melting when the sun's out. My house is well insulated, so I don't get ice dams. I'll go further up once the total accumulation on the roof gets to about 12'.

For those asking for Erie snow pics here you go. Doesn't do it justice, this was interstate 90 on December 26th around 9am on my way back to Ohio from upstate NY. From about the NY/PA border to north east Ohio was 45mph max and 4 wheel drive1893.jpg

We’re about to have a several day freeze in south Texas. Doesn’t happen much down here.
