*3rd Gen* So I've decided to get rid of my front console (#1 on the drawing) with the wireless charger. I never use the charger and think it would be a good spot to put a cb radio. If anyone would like to trade their non-wireless charger for mine let me know!

*Disclaimer* my current front console has this velcro adhered and riveted to the driver-side and has two small holes where my cb bracket was attached on the passenger-side.

ISO 1.5” wheel spacers. If anyone has a line on them let me know. I’m located in Corvallis and will travel within a reasonable amount.

    Thanks in advance!

Any cheap wheel/tire takeoffs out there? Buying a '99 TRD with 33s but want something a little smaller for my commute. They are: "33x12.50 Procomp X terrains with 75% tread remaining" if anyone wanted to trade. Thanks.

I will have these avalible soon, not perfect but good wheels. They are 16x7s that fit over the tundra brake setup. Perfect for commuter tires. I changed to steel wheels and 3 of 4 tires are almost at the wear bars, One at around 60%. 31x10.5 metric size. We can work something out on price, im flexible and need to move them.

From inside hub mounting surface to out side is 4.5 vs 05 and up are 5ish. So they will stick out a little more. I also have a 05 up spare that needs to go.

Before you get too far in, you may want to really look at how little space you gain. On 2nd gens, there really isn't enough space gained to make a CB fit, and I assume your dimensions are similar. The typical choices are switching to a single DIN radio and making use of the pocket, doing a vertical setup in the center armrest cubby, or a vertical mount in place of the rear cupholders of the center armrest. Even then, all those limit you to the Cobra 18 or 19, Midland 1001 (which I haven't seen anyone use), or Uniden 510 (Uniden makes the CMX line as well, but I'm not sure about their quality, especially the digital squelch).

I used to do the Cobra 19 with the single DIN radio, but the CB gave out and I hate messing with that dash piece, so I've recently gone back to a Midland 75-822, which is probably the best choice you are left with considering the lack of good locations for a proper CB.

As another last thing to think about: My Cobra 19 died right before I had a big week-long offroad trip earlier this year, so I made an emergency purchase for a set of Midland X-TALKER T71VP3 handheld GMRS. Now, I prefer using those and I think they work just as well with better sound quality, even. Nothing to install, they last almost 2 days on battery, charge via micro USB, and still work while charging.

Nothing too exciting... maybe a little rust
I'm leaning towards swapping out my CB for a GMRS unit and then a couple handheld FRS walkie talkies to loan out for trips. Anymore the range on my CB is no better if not worse than the FRS radios would be and the better audio quality would be well worth $15/year for a license. To top it off it would be nice to also be able to transmit at higher wattage and have the option of using repeaters to try to get a hold of someone if stuck while out of cell range.
