That's bullshit. I leave the drains on my compressors open when not in use. I fire them up, let them blow out, then close them and build air. Since I've been here I've thrown out 2 portable compressors that looked fairly new, but the tanks were rusted out.

I'm sure it has some kind of auto drain or some such wizardry, but you guys need something you control.

No wind here so the 1 degree feels kinda warm.
I was out doing things outside, feeding birds and stuff. Had dogs with me, they needed to be out running after spending so much time in house.
I asked the wife how we should celebrate hanging the new 2018 calendars tonight.
Going to make bacon rapped venison tonight

Nice lights, please posts some picts after you have them hooked up. I'd like to see how brite they are.

Having spent 20 years running air compressors and supplying air from 125 psi up to 5,000 psi I don't even have words for that. Except another question mark WTF?

    About those gloves....

Phone call from a lady friend in town. HELP. Car won't start battery is dead.
Me- Call one of those emergency services you have.
Her- Already did they are all backlogged 4-6 hours and have an appointment at Fleet Farm in half an hour. Was hard to start yesterday so made an appointment to get a new battery and this was the only opening anyone in town has.

Well shit she is trying. So grabbed my little solid state jump starter and head out, without even thinking about gloves. I only have at least a dozen pair around here. Go to pull the plastic cover off the positive terminal and the tips of my fingernails broke off and chipped with almost no pressure on them, I was using my fingertips not my nails to lift it.

    cold nails.jpg

They got cold enough to become brittle in only a few minutes. Hurts too LOL. Makes you wonder how the Indians and early settlers survived here although guess a lot of them didn't.

That little solid state jumper never ceases to amaze me her battery was stone cold dead. Helped once she turned off the seat warmers, headlights and blower, ugh.

Eyes still blurry. Cold and drizzle here. Think I finally got pet structure built. Got manifold turned off, space heater in well house. Glad I rebuilt that when I could. It’s nice in there now instead of wind blowing thru it.

In the photo, if you look to the lower left, you'll see my generator. I believe it's 9k. Actually, I hooked them up to my battery charger and they drew less than 8amps.

That's what I like about LED. They use way less power. I still need to get my work truck outfitted on the front. I decided to use ac LED lights on the back for worklight and just run them off the generator. I have a Honda generator, it's good and quiet and it would be really hard accidently start the gen, turn the worklights on and blind traffic behind me on the road.

Haven’t had any run of the mill illness in over 3 years. Just cataract surgery, open heart surgery, and a kidney stone the size of Mount Everest! All good for now. Use hand sanitizer like it’s going out of style!

The hospital didn’t listen to us much either. But we’re all maintenance guys, once we got moved in we changed it to what we wanted:thumbsup:

Good idea! I’ll be there at 5:00:drool::hungry:

Easy to switch over to sleeping nights.

    Nice!o_O

Found a Mexican restaurant open and chowed down with wife. Was 38 then. It’s now 35. Wind started up,still drizzling. Got moms place in order and got mine so far. Trying to get these short haired dogs to go out for breaks is burning thru the treats.
