I think Im actually happier with this version of these lights than the previous iteration.

 

Do you have a wider shot of the bezel for this install?

 

I believe these are the ones that fit your truck. I have them in my f150 and just got them for my tacoma.

It’s just the OEM bezel that I reused.

 

I wonder if the older headunits can be updated/retrofit'd with the Scout GPS and other new features?

 

A little weight while I wait for the epoxy to set. Went with 30min, that was a mistake, should have used 5 min. Also, this was a fucking pain in the ass. Not as easy as the YouTube's make it look. 5/7 would not recommend

 

I ended up adding washers to the Torx screws along the bottom to hold the grill in place. I painted them black, so they aren't visible from the front.

Yesterday, I ran power to the bed for a couple of projects. First, I installed a set of lights for the bed. Instead of going under the rail, I mounted them to the bedrack.


Next, I added a power bank in the bed, including switched USB outlets & voltmeter and a constant on 12v plug. You can see the push button switch for the bed lights in the upper right below.




After, I loaded up the truck and went camping up in Daytona. I was supposed to do 2 nights, but a 70% chance for rain and temp projections in the 40's made me rethink that.

Here are some pics from the campsite, as well as a few from around Tiger Bay State Forest and Tomoka WMA.




This was on a portion of the old Pershing Highway, a brick road built in 1917 to connect DeLand to Daytona Beach.



On one of the trails out in Tomoka WMA. I got some exploring in, but not as much as I would have liked. There were a lot of hunters out there and I made sure to do everything I could to not disturb their hunts.


A couple of twisted trees. Their trunks are almost parallel. Very strange.

 

Smart. I "think" I've got it. Put epoxy on the top edge to hold it together. Ended up bending the overlapping tabs down along the edge to also help hold it. Not a fun project.

I put one in my 2014 and ECO did not work for me.

 

except techstream allows you to recalibrate the sensors... so you can definitely keep lifts, numerous people already have without issue.
