I volunteered to bring a BBQ but I see there are a lot already. Should I still bring it?

 

How long is everyone planning on staying? I'd like to make a fire and give this cow the respect it deserves. Between the fire and cooking I'm looking at about 1 1/2-2 hours for ready to eat goodness.

 

We had planned a 5pm departure, again it will depend on weather.

 

5 or 6 sounds good to me. If it gets too cold we can warm around the fire or in the truck

I have some cut up Buckthorn (a type of British cherry), which burns hot as a mofo. If you want to cook on a open fire let me know. I have other cured hardwoods as well. Let me know what you want.

Are you guys in for the BBQ as well?

 

So after been off for a few days the time and location has changed? 1200 for the BBQ am I right?

 

We meet at the golf course at 12:00 hours. BBQ to follow the run. Leo says it will take 1/1/2 hours to burn the meat, then we should be all wrapped up by 17:00.

 

I'm in it to win it. Can say I can cook much but I could bring a meat?

 

You can bring meat if you want, I suppose, but.... the Legend of Leo has it the he grills up one bad-ass Argentinian open pit BBQ with traditional cuts of meat.

We sign up and bring $10 each, he buys meat accordingly, grills it, we eat it, and Pete does the dishes.

 

I'll bring the 10 buckz!
