What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

No taco love at the moment.. busy building a bumper for the wife’s 4Runner..

Got up and did some more mining today! With crappy froze over sow.

 

I took out 10 inches from a 6ft bed. It’d probably still work if you took out a little more.

I was mostly worried about it being to wide when I ordered, but it’s not.

 

Ohh lol i took 10in out of a 5ft bed lol.

 

Thanks. Trying to decide between the Duratrac's and some 255/85R16's, which don't rub much at all. Wish they had Duratrac's in that size.

Picked up some much needed shocks/struts, bilstein 4600's though. Should hold me over until I get the 5100's. Picked them off from a guy who has a maroon ext cab. Cool guy.

2018 starting out great!!

 

Changed the rear shoes. A little tip for getting off the drum if you don’t have bolts to press it off. Wack the drum with a hammer/ mallet then wrap a ratchet strap around the drum. You’ll be able to pull and wiggle the drum off pretty easy.

Lazy visor repair.
1/8"x1/2" aluminum flat stock, nut screw, 2 flat washers, 1 lock washer.

 

What plugs did you go with..

 

Just hope you never crash it because that bit of kit is going to make a mess of your head

 

Ah I can't remember exactly. They're two steps colder than stock. Let me see if the box is in the trash still

Anyone know the torque of the 2.7l oil pan drain bolt? The damn FSM doesn't say it anywhere.
