Bent a spindle today (carnage pic)

    Update: Since the LCA needs to be replaced as well, I'm going to go ahead and have the truck long travelled by All Pro next week Better to put the money towards upgrading than repairing, anyways.

    Through a series of complicated events I put the passenge side up a dirt embankment. I cannot believe the truck didn't roll. Definitely bent something...the truck is at the shop now to get diagnosed.

    If it's the spindle, I'm thinking I can replace that myself pretty easily. If the lower control arms are bent....I'm going LT.

    Limped it 4 miles from where I was to shop.

    gussets FTW.... makes that wayyy stronger... lol

    Damn that sucks. Looks like a bent spindle to me. Is the All Pro bumper bent too? It looks like its into the fender pretty good in that pic. What exactly happened to cause this casualty?

    Very true, but those spindles can still bend pretty easily even with the gussets.
