    Nothing yet, brand new!
I'll admit I haven't been driving my Tacoma as much as I used too. Let's face it for those of us who do have a choice between their trucks and cars with the price of gas I had to change my driving habits.. I've been driving the car to and from work, use my Taco sparingly.. But... this weekend...
I took it out, got it dirty; it's hunting season; THIS FEELS GREAT!!

Also, is it just me or do chicks LOVE THESE THINGS!!

It runs great, looks good dirty or clean and just felt like an old recliner..

I've been riding my motorcycle every day for 5 years, and just driving when I absolutely needed to.

I just bought a new Tacoma, and so I've actually driven it every day for a week (WooHoo!) and my bike sits in the garage on the battery tender.

That's gonna end though, because the bike used half the gas or less, and splits through traffic much easier. ;-)

I tend to drive my Prius as my daily driver and use the Taco on the weekends, with some exceptions to that depending on practicalities. I did a short (300 mile) road-trip this weekend and took the Prius because I didn't need truck features, and averaged 52.4mpg, so kinda hard for me to justify driving the Taco under those conditions......although I do enjoy driving it waaaaaayyyy more.

I would drive my MINI more but it doesn't go down these oil field and county roads very well so I will stick with my Taco!

I drive my truck everyday. It's my daily driver and I love it!!

The only thing I've done to hopefully help with gas - is tire pessure, tonneau cover, air filter, and running my cruise at 60mph for the 18 mile round trip for work.

my truck is my only ride but it actually gets better gas mileage than my 02 4Runner i just got rid of (it also feels like a dragster compared to that 3.4L). my mom is also always willing to swap her accord with me since her commute to work is like 2 miles.

You might consider taking your mom's Prius out for a spin, they are a lot nicer than you'd expect, very roomy, comfortable, and with considerable zip.

By "cruiser" do you mean an FJ? I think those are great, am trying to talk my girlfriend into buying one.

I drive mine everyday. I'm happy with the gas mileage. Sure, it could be better, but I'd rather have a truck getting 20MPG than a car getting 35.

He's an LEO. He has a Police Cruiser.

I've been riding my Ninja whenever possible, put 4100 on it in 3 months :D I look forward to staying dry in the cab of my finished Tacoma though, especially with winter coming. Gas shouldn't be too bad with the I4 5spd.

Ive drivin mine WAY more than I should have. 38000 miles and WAY too much gas. But ya know what... I have to buy gas either way, so I dont care about milage. My Taco does a LOT better than my GMC. I love dring my truck, it fits me perfectly, runs great, and handles like a dream. The only thing I would change is adding the supercharger. But it will be a while before I can afford that updrade.

    "...until the newness wore off."

    Same here.

Or at least until I finish the first tank of gas. ;)

I drive my truck everyday, bought an old used bike thinking I would save gas, but this summer has seen 4 people killed just here in Rochester riding bikes. Whose fault ? don't really care, the bikers ended up dead, so I am thinking of selling the bike, pay for the extra gas and live to tell about it.

my taco was supposed to be rainy day backup for my scooter, or for hauling-
but the tables have turned. now i drive the truck any excuse i get.
now any hot ass day is an excuse to not wear my fullface helmet,
and any cloud in the sky is reason enough to drive the truck to work in case of downpour.

once fall kicks in, i'll probably be back on the scooter mostly again- gassing up the truck and parking fees are draining me!

There was a fatal car crash on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway several weeks ago that involved a motorcyclist. I don't think the guy even made it to the ambulance. A driver coming the other way feel asleep and crossed the median, he wasn't wearing his seatbelt.

My wife has been on me to sell mine since then.

It's pretty grim for the bikers, I was walking down by the house and saw them pull the blanket over a guy, I don't know what happened or who was at fault but still pretty unnerving. Looked to me that the biker was pulling away from the curb and the car did not see him. :(
