Can I just say something? This doesn’t pertain to what u guys r saying, but I’m frustrated. I like the Redskins...... But I hate the fucking Redskins. They need to get their shit together. For those that say they suck.... Currently, I agree.

But, I am 39 so I do remember all the Super Bowl wins (especially when they annihilated Denver) . I’m just frustrated and venting. Fuck you Dan Snyder. If u don’t know who this dipshit ball gobbler is, he is the owner of the Skins and he has ruined our franchise.

If u guys wanna talk smack on the Skins no worries here. I can hardly watch their games anymore because they r so depressing currently. If they lose Cousins I am gonna just start watching Canadian football.

 

I don’t ever see them going anywhere under Jay Gruden. Unfortunately for their fans I don’t see them going anywhere for a while

I think the problem with the Browns, Bears, Redskins is Ownership. The owners see money coming in and don't give a shit how the team performs. You've got some owners that care and some that just see a cash cow. A la Al Davis

I don’t agree with that. Because they could make a lot more with winning teams. I live in buffalo. Almost 18 years without going to the playoffs. When the cold temps come in, and they don’t have a winning record it’s hard to sell out. A lot of games they don’t. They give away tickets to snow shovelers, or they sell them cheap. They are always reaching out to groups to buy large amounts at reduced rates. They have to get creative to sell tickets which is a lot of work.

A lot of these owners aren’t really involved and rely heavily on their GMs and people running the organizations. I think it’s poor management and business decisions. And when the environment is bad or unstable it trickles down to the players. They end up just showing up for a paycheck. Games don’t mean anything to them. So really it’s a lot of things but if the owner is more involved, usually their is Better results. And if they aren’t, then usually they only care about the money, or atleast that’s how it comes across

 

Well Buffalo is a special case, When you have to tunnel thru the 8 feet of snow on your way to team meetings. Yea I can see that.

 

Not really, the old owner was more interested in the money. The new owners had to totally change the culture around the organization. They made a couple of mistakes, but seem to be getting on the right track

 

I agree somewhat about the owners, but also I can attest that the redskins have nearly doubled the franchise value within the past 10 losing seasons. Fed-ex field has replaced thousands of seats with covers due to low attendance but the owner could give two shits less. Dan Snyder relies heavily on his GM for PR purposes and budgeting, but the owner has a very tight hold on all transactions and daily going’s on. They literally kept Robert Griffin for multiple years with no production just because he and Snyder were butt buddies. I mess our previous owner Jack Kent Cook.

He’s a hell of a lot better than RG3. But yeah, I agree that either way they have got to make some changes to get the whole team better. They have talent (no doubting that players like Chris Thompson are skilled), but the whole team has to perform well just to win games and not all teams rely on a whole team effort. The Pats can crunch people without the defense in some games. Once a team can pack like 30-40 points on, the other team is on its heels and has to change all game plans to catch up. Just about every Skins game the other teams r competing until the 4th quarter and they need to b putting team away not just winning. We will c. Someone is gonna flourish with Cousins. May not b the Skins but I can only imaginable what Sean McVay could’ve accomplished with him on the Rams. Now that’s a team with some instant potential.

 

They are still trash.
