Anyone have experience with the locking rotopax handle? Mine locks and secures the rotopax canister. But the top piece of the handle does not spin freely from the lower portion at the top. Here's a pic of the top piece spinning free which mine is not doing.

Started the year off on the right foot by winching a crashed car out of a cyclone fence. The elderly couple was still inside.

Had some fun with the extra jerry cans for the truck. Here are some before and afters.

Those are what they call SAW cans. I think they are slightly bigger than the 50 cans. I wanted to make sure they rested on the raised tire well. But they are secured to the bed rail with washers and bolts. Bolt head sits in rail with 1in washer locking it to the rail, then a couple washers inside with a crush washer and nut. I dreamed took the front plate for the eye ring and the lock it with a master lock. On securely and I hold tools and ratchet straps in one and fuel nozzles and rags in the second. I think for locks, can and washers I made one nice lock box for $30.

No but I'm not shocked that a rotopax product has failed again. They continue to make money off the expo crowd though :)

Yeah I've seen some mixed reviews on these things. I plan on oiling the lock on a weekly basis. :fingerscrossed:

Is this just in place of using the rubber hose? Haven’t changed the oil yet but plan on it this week..

The fumoto replaces the drain plug, allowing for controlled release (that's what she said) of the oil when draining. The fumoto valve drains straight down or you can use a supplied tube and run that directly into your waste pan. Here's the one I have: http://amzn.to/2CCOZha
