I have the Toyota version weathertechs on my 2017. The passenger side doesn’t have holes, but it damn sure doesn’t move. I have To pry it up just to shake it out or wash it.

Took a bit of adjusting and such, but that’s to be expected.

Just kinda curious; based on 191 pages of rear diff howling concerns in the 3rd Gen Poll: Rear End Noise howling when feathering throttle thread, I would be interested to read input from the 2018 TRD Pro owners experiencing the same symptoms. I ask because I'm on the list for a 2018Pro myself and the experienced diff howl to date and Toyota's "it's not a problem" attitude, but still replacing a few diffs concerns me greatly.
    I appreciate your time, thanks

I’m completely comfortable in my truck. Not sure what you’re asking.

Been bugging me all day looking at these pics what it reminded me of. Then it hit me. My Granpa had a older toyota single cab in that color back when I was like 16 and I'm now 55 so u can figure it had to be like a 70s model. Can't tell you how many fishing trips to the creek for catfish I made in that truck. Seems like it was a 4 speed stick. He loved it and I loved it and sure brings back great memories. Lost him many years ago but he was always taking me fishing or rabbit hunting or racoon hunting.

Well, that sucks. Sounds like they are right in line with many other so-cal dealers I talked to although if they don’t have the 5k mark-up, I’d probably eat that credit check.

Lol, when I contacted them Poway told me they had the lowest markup in so-cal....only $4,995. They beat a lot of dealers by a whopping 5 bucks. Obviously I didn’t go to Poway. If you are looking for a pro in so-cal you gotta go to Frank toyota. Hands down best dealer I talked to. No BS, just MSRP and out the door I went...happy as a pig in shit.

I'd check inventory in Oregon or WA. The flight is ~$400 round, not sure one way. But you'll probably pay no more than MSRP on the truck, and less on extended warranty since you won't be in the area... You will have to travel to a rural dealership. I'd see if what they have is close, place a deposit and fly up. Then just drive it back.

This is what a lot of California owners did with the 17' TRD Pro. Also the reason I ended up flying to Spokane to get a deal on mine and drove it back to Portland. Best advice on anyone looking to purchase a Pro is to start in a circle and check every dealers actual website and look for incoming inventory and email them to inquire if it's sold. A lot of dealers don't post vehicles on cars.com or auto trader. There is always hope to find a small dealer that got one allocated to them with no one in line to buy it.

Guys, are your Cavalry Blue Tacos in automatic or manual transmission? Mine is AT, and I am looking to trade for a MT. I got such a great deal on my current CB Taco that I could not pass up the opportunity, but I have driven manual my entire life (obvious exaggeration) and it is difficult (though not impossible) to adjust.

You couldn’t pay me to go manual. I’ll take AT all day long.
