Ahhh I see. Very slick! Does it lose the magnetic function I would expect?

Laughs, no, but a couple of years ago a young man found my lovely wife in a snowy ditch on the back roads of Kentucky, he pulled her out. He watched her get on the road and drive off then he then drove off. It was great.

I love the idea of the valve but I worry if you go out in the woods and rocks it would hang low enough to get torn off.
My stock skid plate doesn't cover that far back.

Do you get out in the open?

I have an aftermarket skid plate that completely protects the fumoto valve.

I can't remember if the stock oil plug was magnetic or not. I know the drain plugs for your front and rear diff are magnetic.

I brought my truck in for it’s final free oil change a couple years back and the sales guy outside asked if I was interested in trading my 2013 in for a 2015. I said no? They are the same truck. Lol

You can reset the maint light anytime you want to. The instructions are in your owners manual.

    Hmmm
I'd love to but a $300 skid plate to protect a $30 valve and for the Amour but after Christmas it's not in the budget.

I'll keep going with an oily hand and $1 worth of tags and a steel plug.

If anyone wants to send me a skidplate, I would but a Furmoto tomorrow.

Has anyone else dealt with a leak coming in from the tailgate openings on either side?
It's not a whole lot of water, but it's enough to get carpet wet that I had laid out in the bed...

The headphones are where the area is the most wet when it rains, I wash the truck, etc.

Here's the gap I'm talking about that the water is getting through..... seems like nothing or normal, but I'm just wondering if others have curbed this "leak" not so much a leak?

That is pond liner I cut and screwed into the factory spots, the old rubber rotted from the California weather when I lived down there for 4 years....

I don't want to have to flip it over the tailgate every time I open or close it, as I'm sure someone might suggest doing

I installed a seal in that area to minimize water coming in.
