Bw s256 turbo with 3 in glass pack dumped pre axle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
I found something i trust Winchester ammo with (i bought a box several years ago for deer seasob when .243 ammo was almost impossible to find, and the next summer i had 3 of those rounds that snapped so needless to say, ammo less than a year old with a 85% success rating has no place in my hunting guns) but hopefull it will come off the wood easier than ink when i go to sand these down.

My dad has one and so does my mom, I'm the primary shooter for both guns (funny how that works), moms was bought first by a few months, no major issues in 1,500 rounds or so, I barely clean it and I have an occasional FTF or FTextract with bulk ammo and occasionally it doesn't completely cycle with the Geco standard velocity that I shoot in my suppressed bolt gun (the ammo is made for bolt action and to be subsonic so I'm not terribly surprised with the occasional malfunction).
Dads on the other hand is going to the gun shop sometime (he's been saying he's going to take it for the past 6 months) for repairs because it has constant failures to extract, other than the extraction issues it's done well in the 300 rounds I've put through it.

My absolute favorite rifle of all time. A non-serialized 1955 vintage Marlin 56. My dad bought this sometime in the early 60's in a hardware store for $40. The Levermatic is a very short throw action and if there is the age old question ... you can only have one ... it's this Marlin 56 every time

Yeah. I've been flying with at least a pistol roughly once a month since 2007. Going through one of the airports that actually has TSA verify firearms, I ran across a MENSA candidate that decided to swab the barrel of my Glock. For explosive residue. And was shocked when it tested positive.

Shooting is definitely better than cancer early day! Good to hear that you’re coming out of it! That seems to be an all too repetitive story lately

This just popped up on my Facebook feed. All I'll say, is never cheap out on holsters (not that all expensive holsters are good, some are straight up shit). Get the best, QUALITY holster that you can afford that fits your needs. Except for a Serpa. Never buy a Serpa. :crapstorm:

That being said, administrative handling of loaded firearms should be kept to a minimum. The first thing I do after loading is put it into the holster. The first thing I do after removing it from the holster is unload it (situation dictates whether it's unloaded by dropping the mag/racking the slide, or pulling the trigger ;)).
