Yeah I seen you can adjust it. For sure will be playing around with it. Naturally looking at mods already.

Might have to pick your brain @Micatom33 about RC. Really want to pick one up to mess around while on a hike or camping.

Btw sweet truck, I’ll keep an eye out for it around town.

I’m sure this question is asked all the time but what would be a good entry level crawler? On a budget but looking to spend around $300-400. Been on the Traxxas site and there are so many options. Never know what is actually necessary.

I have a wraith that might be up for sale very soon. Lol. I forgot how expensive this hobby is

Out of the box and ReadyToRun the Traxxas TRX-4 is killing it. Axial's lineup really needs tinkering to make work well. Carisma has a nice one but the reviews aren't plentiful since it's new. It's on backorder everywhere which can be a good or bad thing. Plus it's a Toyota: https://www.amainhobbies.com/carism...d-scaler-rtr-285mm-wheelbase-cis77768/p712166

You want a dedicated crawler, something that is more scale/realistic, a high speed basher, or something that can do all but not as well as a specifically dedicated rig?

    Hmmm...

Yeah my bosses kid got into it and he was buying parts/breaking stuff all the time.

I’ll have to look into those. Basically all around would probably be best at first to see what I use it for and like. We have a ton of woods around that would be fun to crawl in.

Vaterra Ascender is a great option. The thing crawls great, has great steering range and comes with aluminum links. I just picked up the F100 yesterday. The LHS is throwing up some Boxing Day deals and I couldn’t refuse the offer. It’s a bind and drive, perfect if already have a Tx.

No Tx? Check out the Blazer or K5.

Busted out the Talion at Tepui Fest...had a great time powering around. @JLee picked up something-XMAXX I think? A Slash 4x4 would be a lot of fun too.

That's what I was hinting around towards. Something like a Slash or Losi Rock Rey may be more inline with horsing down some back woods trails than a walking speed crawler.

Anyone know anything about the lipo batteries? I am not driving my truck for a few days so I have the batteries charged on the store setting. Should I charge them when I drive again on balanced or just put them in my truck and drive?

o yeah my modding to my trx4 body is coming along nicely. Went from a suv look to a truck look. I cut the rear off and am working on fitting the rest. I hope to find some good supplies tomorrow to finish it up. I will post pics then.
