Just to let you know UCA's are not cheap whats your budget?
heres a good site with 3 different selections , $449 for light racing uca's, $528 camburg uca's and $669 total chaos, total chaos is one of the most known uca's and best.

ive never tried the total chaos but , from all my research that i did, i found that the camburgs are the best bang for the buck imo. i have them on now, and i couldnt be happier.

Camburg, and Total Chaos. Both Major companies in desert racing technology. IMHO They are the Same, but one comes with a better price. It is all Apples & Oranges.....Go with camburg, or what is going to suit you best. I am Glad wheeler's is located in Oregon. I can just drive and pick up my parts! I am going with the Camburg's myself.

I know this is an old thread, I'm getting ready to purchase UCA's and in doing my research came across several threads stating the Camburgs cost around 540, they must have updated them because they now cost the same as TC UCA's at 639. Just an FYI for anyone else researching UCA's like me.

I have read alot of reports in which the Camburgs are noisy.

    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
Camburg re-did their design for their UCAs that has (allegedly) solved the noise and caster issues with the old ones -- hence the higher price.

Over at TN, Toku is selling his used TC UCAs for 500 bucks - they have ~7k miles on them.

have you heard how they "re-did" them? the reason they mere so noisy in the past, was due to their use of a harder material in the Uniball construction. they used to brag about this, so If they are quiet now, I would presume they switched to a "softer" Uniball.

    nope... :D

everything I post is rumor and conjecture...

... thought I had read it on the Camburg site... guess not: Best bet is to talk to silverseven as he just installed the 1.25 Camburg UCAs.

There was a recent post on here about the Light Racing UCA's, from the post if looks like they've fixed the problems with the earlier ones? There a bunch cheaper and you can get a new ball joint at a local parts store.

    A few bolts are different.
The new camburgs look Smooth with the 1.25" uniball but I do like my TC's.
