Regardless. Reason why I asked the question is it's likely the extra electrical draw of the traction control kicking in pulling full system voltage down which is seen in the headlights the most.

The bar where I work has independently contracted valet parking, which I didn't like from the beginning. I'll get to the reason I initially disliked the valet parking service momentarily...

This picture shows one of the reasons why the valet parking at my place of employment often gets on my nerves...

Your boss sends you on an important errand, and you have to wait until the lot manager plays a game of parking lot Tetris...

You work at a bar, you should understand having to card customers. Some people are going to card everyone no matter how old they are or how many times you purchase items. I guess you go to Wawa is because they are close to the bar? Are there other convenient stores near by? Is it “convenient” to go to another convenience store? Back in 5 or 10 minutes vs 30 minutes or more.

Make a shopping list, that way you get right kind and right amount of cigarettes or what ever else others order.

Tell the manager that you work at a bar and to come visit and see that you are just picking up for people of legal smoking age.

The girl you said may have Aspergers may be so afraid of screwing up, she would card her own parents.

I would like to point out that while I still think the valet parking service is a pain in the ass at times, I like the guys who run it now, specifically this kid named Yuri...

The valet parking was first implemented towards the end of the summer in 2014, before I even started working there. The bar owner decided to hire these guys to maximize space in the lot, and more importantly, discourage non-customers from parking in what was technically a public lot from Friday evening until Monday morning. This in itself was a good idea.

What backfired almost immediately was that the guys running the valet operation expected employees, some of whom had been working at the bar for three years or more, to pay the $5 fee. This, of course, was about as warmly regarded as a tax audit on Christmas Eve.

I started officially working at the bar in December 2014.

In January 2015, I almost got fired after getting into an argument with one of the valet guys after I refused to give him the five bucks, and then started swearing at him when he asked how long I was going to be leaving my truck there. My viewpoint was that I was an employee of that bar, who'd been a regular customer since August 2010, and who'd friends with the owner for almost the same amount of time, I had a right to park in that spot while I was working. The argument ended with me peeling out of the parking space and taking out a traffic cone. Unfortunately, the owner saw most of it too.

After apologizing to the owner and the lot manager for the valet company, I got off quite easy when I explained that (A) My grandma had just passed away, and (B) I'd just started working at the bar but had been coming there for more than 4 years as a regular customer and that whole time the parking lot had been open to the public on weekends.

When I'm picking up cigarettes for than one person, I do that.

When it comes to my boss, I've been making smoke runs for her for so long that I know exactly what she wants. When I'm only picking up her stuff, I have learned that I need to check the cigarette pack before I leave the store...

Considering the traffic in the Borough on Fridays and weekends, going to the 7-11 might actually be quicker in some cases since there are a lot more back roads to take.

That's actually not a bad idea, but what if the manager is obnoxiously by the books? That's the problem I had with the cashier in the past...

So, from then on, I remained on largely good terms with the valet guys, but it was no secret that I wanted them gone. For maybe the first year and a half of this agreement, the employees were guys in their 30s and 40s who not many people liked.

Before long, most of my coworkers started getting more irritated with the arrangement than I had initially been. Some of my coworkers parked a block or two away in one of the free public lots, while others flat out refused to pay the valet guys and just parked there anyway. I fell into the latter category, though on one particularly busy night the valet guys forced EVERYBODY to pay $5, citing orders from the owner of the valet company. They never pulled that shit again, probably because of the icy response they got from my coworkers and me.

Before long, the valet guys realized that the employees were going to do what they wanted and gave up trying to collect the $5 and gave up. Every so often, there'd be a new guy who didn't know me. One night, I went there with my cousin Lanae on my day off, parked my Tacoma, and went inside. We probably stayed for an hour or two and didn't drink much.

We were talking as we walked back out to the parking lot after a couple drinks, and all of a sudden this kid, who probably wasn't even old enough to drink, walks up to me and says that it costs five bucks to park there. I gave him a not-so-friendly look and said "I work here." He said "Okay" and walked away without another word...

In 2016-2017, the previous employees either left or lost their jobs, and fresh new faces came in. One of them is Yuri, the kid I think is pretty cool. He has never once asked me for five bucks, and always keeps a convenient spot open for me on even the busiest of nights. He's also a car enthusiast like me, and he shares my political views, so we get along very well...

I do believe this was the day of the Doylestown at Dusk car show. I'd driven to the Super Chevy Show at Maple Grove Raceway (in Mohnton, PA; near Reading) first thing in the morning, then driven all the way back home that afternoon. I stopped at a cruise night in the parking lot of the Lowe's in Warrington, and then continued to Doylestown. This was a fun day. I went to the car show, but remained on call in case my boss needed to run some errands. As a result, I was allowed to park the Tacoma at work!

Several years ago this Guy ran a Corvette through the auction here in Atlanta that somebody had died in. Nobody would bid on it because of the smell, and that was after the interior was swapped out.

I'm guessing the dead body was in the Corvette for a while? With my uncle's Rebel Machine, they found the guy not long after he killed himself...

Yea I think the body had been there for awhile. If I remember right the car was parted out and went to the crusher.
