Yeah that zerk greases the splines on the inner driveshaft. There's no exit for the grease to go so you can't get more than a few pumps into it. Same thing happened to me and I have a Pneumatic gun. Don't worry about it.

Well like I said, i probably put 10-12 pumps into it. All the others were like ~3

I ended up removing the zerk and rolling forward and back and nothing much came out. I guess it’s fine.

Front end is all done. Transmission is going in now and I'll be finally 4WD. I'm so happy I got those manual hubs powder coated to match my Calipers.

    Damn that turned out nice.

Bet it's weird seeing Turd Gen wheels and Manual Hubs.

Thanks! It's a huge difference from the corroded gray metal and faded black the hubs used to be. Well worth the money I paid to have it refinished.

I live in suburban California I have no idea why I even made this truck 4WD, lol.

Hell, why not? Now you have an excuse to go test out your work somewhere more rural.

Rural? Gotcha. Heading up to Oakland ASAP.

But seriously, I plan on taking it up to Reno as soon as I get it done. Hopefully by the end of the week. I have class again next Monday, Lol!

Rolling back and forth isnt going to do anything. You have to cycle the suspension to make it relevant. Floor jack under 3rd member and up down that shit. I know when mineis dry after about 3mo it will clunk in reverse. Also you should use a heavier grease then whats in your u joints. Other wise it will all sling right out.

Don't have the willpower to put that transmission in today. Instead I'm trying to get my custom instrument Cluster lights working that utilize the transfer case position sensors.

Looks a little sloppy because I have an ink jet printer. Would've looked way cleaner on a laser jet.

Not pinned for it. I have cluster pigtails I'm using. The copper traces are on the flexible circuit board though so all you really have to do is hook it all up at the connector. The dash has a common 12v rail so you'd have to switch the ground.
