I really want to try the new 1500, but I'm not sure if I'll like it after having my 12'' kicker L5 in a ported box. has anyone gone from a big sub to one of these?

 

OMG!!!!! so my 1200 crapped out a week ago and guess what happened today!!!! contacted me and payed for the return shiping of the sub and give me my money back in full, including the orginal shipping costs....i couldnt believe it!! i just ordered the 1500 so i will let you guys know how it turns out.

After getting ItalynStylin to calibrate mine, man this thing is unbelievable. I have had this thing for about 2 months now and it is going strong. It wont shake anything, but I get my wife telling me to "turn that shit down"

 

i dont remeber who i talked to...but i got on the boss audio website and called them direct. and yeah they payed for everything shipping and a full refund including the origianl shipping costs. and this was after the 30 day warrenty...the only place i can find the 1500 is on Amazon, and i ordered it but its not even going to ship until around april 12th!!!!!!!! bullshit i know!!!! i got it for 129.99 with free shipping (im a super memeber thing on amazon) so expect a video/review by the end of april!!!!! I DONT THING I CAN WAIT THAT LONG!!!

and i think the reason i got so lucky was beacause i just returned it out right i didnt exchange it.

 

ok guys just a quick update incase any one cares the 1500 still has not shipped out from Amazon yet!!!! and i cant find any where else thats not selling it for like 300+ dollars.

 

it's only the 11th though.

 

ohh your right my computer was wrong. Amazon estimates it between april 12 - 20 UHHH they changed there minds. I also cant even find the thing for sale on amazon anymore.

 

So for those of you who installed these a while back, how do you feel about it now?

I have read some of the reviews and it seems like the BOSS gives out within months of installation. Either the amp fries or goes into protect mode, or just gets weaker and weaker. Have any of you noticed that? Would you still recommend this system?

I have had mine for a couple of months and it is working as good today as it was the day I installed it.

 

Thats exactly the problem I was reading about in the reviews. BOSS doesn't give a crap about the customers or there products once its sold. Thanks for the input! Sorry you ran into that problem though.

 

As with any product, not many people are going to respond in a review as to the item working as described. Reviews only get posted when a customer feels really strongly one way or another. I doubt you would see many customers awstruck by the product, so most of the reviews you will see will be negative. Of the 43 reviews it has a 4 star ranking on Amazon, thats pretty much a buy sign for me. And I'm sure Amazon sold more than 43 units......

If your on Yelp and a restaurant has a 4 star ranking you want to try it out because it should be good.

I have the bigger 10" version and mine works fine, it actualy sounds like it works better now than it did when I first put it in... but yes, I am happy with mine
