So, what kind of paint did you end up using? Just regular black spray paint, or is there a particular kind that works best for this application?

If i can make a suggestion I've got the 17 in 6spd skip the running boards and mud flaps soon as you lift it you'll need to remove them for clearance. As well the nerf tubes are body mounted and a waste. Don't waste your money like i did. But get frame sliders after market and ignore the flaps. And the mats you should get from weather tech. The stock ones your looking at i got add they are really shallow and the carpets get wet all the time in the winter and rain. Learn from my mistakes and save a few bucks.

Well, I'm now on the inferno team!

While I'm in here, is there a spray paint (duplicolor possibly) that can be bought locally that matches really close to inferno?

So my truck was used in an Autotrader commercial. I heard it started airing in the states recently!

Its close but no pearl in it. If you are anal, Id recomend you go with THE actual paint match.

In a perfect world, sure! The spray paint is for people that wanted to match small things as closest possible

I hear that. I was hoping to do my bumper end caps but the difference in color just jumped out at me and punched me in the left ear.

There's a place in a town near where I live that sells automotive paint. My son and I are restoring an old Datsun Z and it's a weird kinda green/gold color. This place not only matched it, but put it in spray cans. $20 a can. I'm sure they can do the same in Inferno and there's probably a place near you.

I'd just put it away in case of a bird strike, or something.. Then paint it and install..

That's what I used on my front Toyota symbol.... a close match, but only good for little things like this that are not very close to the real inferno....

And by the way.... That $3.87 can of paint in the US is ONLY available in Canada thru Amazon.ca....for $35.00 CDN....:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:....plus shipping...!! :angrygirl:

I picked up a can in Montana, on my way to BC this summer..!!!!:canada:
