Is there anything that can be done for current customers that have cracking issues? I love my Clazzios and am on my second set for my second truck, but my driver's seat bottom is cracking pretty bad at the seam between the vinyl and leather insert. The same thing happened on the first set, but I sold the truck before it got too bad. I understand that I am outside the warranty period (purchased in 2015), but if it's a known issue, I'm just wondering if I can get the seat bottom replaced?

This may not be the correct place for this conversation, if so, please PM me. I only felt the need to respond here since you brought up the issue. Thank you.

We don't like selling light gray ever. It's a type of color, like all white or ivory that requires commitment to have.. some people are super clean and just like having really light seats. But 99% of people, have kids, and get dirty and put things in the vehicles, and don't want to ever worry about the pretty white untouchable seats.. so, we discontinued white as an insert, and we just shy against light gray unless you really really really want to up keep it. Sorry if we didn't talk to you about light gray when you ordered we thought we had.

Either way.. the clazzio product is back to a solid 3 year warranty on all new seat covers. And the newer vinyl shouldn't ever crack. And if it does, you are fully covered, just like you have been.

It is what it is and I barely drive my Mall Princess over leaves. So if I would have known the light gray would suck I definitely would of just got all dark gray. Which I might just eventually do anyway.

Year and a half and driven at least 20 miles a day during the week and not counting the 100s of miles going out of town on weekends. Mine still look new. I will say i use Mothers VLR once a month or whenever i clean the interior, whichever comes first. So maybe thats why mine havent cracked.

EDIT: Mine are triple black for what its worth.

Could be but I always use Lexol Cleaner and Conditioner on mine as well. Plus the cold Winters I am sure don't help as they are quite stiff when you first get in. Plus I have heated pads under them which also might aid in cracking of the older stuff I have. So lets see how the newer version will hold up, and if it doesn't at least I know I am covered.

It doesnt get that cold here so i didnt opt for the heated seats. But it was 16F yesterday and i jumped in and it felt like i sat on a giant freezing ass cold rock! :rofl:Im not used to leather seats.

Ha ha ha that's all Winter here, so hopefully their more durable material will hold up better.

Just to bring up this post. @Clazzio took care of me and got me a new seat bottom since I was still under the warranty period! The new cover matches perfectly, but the vinyl side bolsters that were cracking feel a lot more supple on this new piece. Install will wait until this weekend. Thanks again for the great customer service. Currently on my third set of seat covers on 3 different vehicles.
