I've had a few manual vehicles in the past, so not an issue for myself. However, Gid and I have talked about this before somewhere here, these trucks don't have the most smooth gear transitions anyway.

 

Any one interested in a set of steels rims off my 09. Tpms was still working when they came off. All center caps and lugs included. Tires are shot but hold air. Asking 50.00. Live just north of Nashville.

 

Sometimes a day off is just what the doctor ordered. It was a good day, just freaking cold on top of the mountains! Thank goodness i did seat heaters when I put the leather in! lol

Had the day off work anyway today.

Rachaels car battery took a shit this morning. She drove the truck to work today.

My boy has puked 3 times.

Really could not have asked for a better random day off. So glad this shit happened today instead of her having to take another day off.

 

Coldest I have been in was about -12 with about a -25 or -30 windchill Near Buffalo NY that was a few years ago. Truck started just fine to go drive around and play in about 1’ of snow on the roads.




What kinda phone mounts does everyone in here have?

 

I use a Panavise mount with a Ram arm and magnetic plate for my phone/cb.

 

I love my simple af Scosche mount. Put a magnet thinner than a credit card on the back of your phone and you can literally throw your phone on this mount to stick.

I have a Tech Deck in my second gen. I’ll see if I can get a better pic later.

 

I just drop my phone, cb, etc into one of the 32 cupholders.

 

Got any pic of where it mounts to the dash? This is kinda the area i’d like to put my iPhone 7plus, got a ’07 so dash it pretty much the same.

 

I have been keeping it in my lap or cup holder, or the long tray like thing next to the auto shifter. Kinda want a mount to it’s easier to use phone for nav on trips.

 

It’s kinda hard to see in this pic, but it screws into the sides of the bezel around the climate controls.

Then you can mount any RAM mount you want to it.

 

Similar to Dave’s I just can’t afford the iPad mini… LOL

Sometimes being basic ain't so basic.

I'll use temp mounts for trail footage, but I don't think I'd want anything permanent myself.

 

I kinda like that. With how large these 7plus phones are who needs a iPad? lol. I was kinda thinking something smaller but this may work the best, I don’t want it by the A-piller or windshiled. All I will be using it for is my phone.
