TRD Pro Grille for $140?

I ordered my grill from Areyoushop-a on December 18th. It was attempted delivery on the 27th but no one was home, worked Friday then the holiday came. I will pick up tomorrow and let you guys know what I get. By the looks of it I will most likely receive a 1 piece grill. Wanted a two piece. If there are no blems on it I may just keep it though.

I am jelly with you bastards that ordered from Areyoushop-a or motorsfan and got two piece grills.

 

Did you order from this seller on Amazon or ebay?

 

I know this is off topic but... I was wanting to give my tacoma a 3 inch lift. Although its just a 4x2 I am mainly just doing it for the looks.... I think the lifts on tacomas look great! So just curious if anyone can give some advice on the best kits? I know I wouldnt be able to do it myself but wasnt for sure if I should just purchase the kit myself and pay someone to install it or just go somewhere and have them order everything and do it all at once.

Dude you really mean it being off topic. This thread is mainly for discussion of those of us being cheap and buying the Pro grille elsewhere other than the stealership. I really think you need to make a post or try to find another place to get more accurate answers. Also very few people will actually see what you wrote you'll get more visibility if you make a post if your questions can't be answered by previous posts.

 

Ok sorry. I also got a grille from one of the sellers and have received a lot of help from the responses and notice some of the Tacoma’s pictured were lifted... just thought i would receive good feedback from asking that as well... I’ll just go search for another thread

Ordered on the 26th. Mine is in Chiraq set to be delivered on the 5th. Will update on Friday when the mail runs.

 

Yes, for $125, very happy. Was packed well and arrived in 6 days...even over the week of Christmas.

 

Update on mine for a different vendor that appears to have the 2-piece.

I ordered from vendor yan-linm. Based on the photos, he has the two piece grill so I am hopeful that I will get just that. He's got good, recent feedback specific to the grill.

I ordered on the Dec 26. Paid 102.99 + 15 shipping. I have contacted him 3 times since ordering because the tracking number posted was showing as invalid on China Post site. He replied within a couple hours each time so communication is good. I just checked USPS for the tracking number today and it has a status. Says it's in transit. I'm hoping I will get it this week.

I will post an update with photos once I receive it. Again, just sharing with you all so hopefully we have another, vetted, source for the 2-piece.

 

I’m so close to pulling the trigger on one. But there’s so many different sellers. Just waiting for a few people of the same seller to agree that it turned out great.

 

Seems to me that the consensus for the areyoushop vendor is they are good to go. I've read through this entire thread and 98% of people seem happy. And you have that one dude that isn't happy because they forgot to include the letters. Even after the vendor shipped him the letters and gave him a $40 refund. I don't know but seems to me like the areyoushop vendor makes good with his transactions.

 

It was from China one piece. The sellers name was wtuymqve on eBay I just saw a few for $60 plus $30 for shipping on eBay as well

 

Picked mine up from the PO today. No broken tabs and no weird discoloration like others mentioned. It was a one piece instead of the two piece as advertised when I ordered. As long as the letters stay on I will for sure be a happy camper. I know a lot of people also complained of excess flashing as well but mine looks to be super clean. I also purchased from areyoushop. I will attempt to install when I am back at the firehouse on Thursday so I can get the truck out of the cold for a few hours prior to trying to install so I do not end up breaking any plastic due to it cracking from these ridiculous temps we have been having here this week.

 

Why would they do the T and A differently when the first T isn’t like that...

 

So the first grill I ordered from the Malaysian prick (beileya_0) just came in today.

Luckily ebay was on to his bullshit and refunded my money a week ago. The one from areyourshop-a should be here in the next day or two.
