I had mine replaced once at 200k miles by one of my friends at a Toyota dealership, but I didn't do it myself. Whenever I upgrade to the LCE ill probably just pay to have a member from on here do it. I don't have any experience working on transmissions, and murphy's law typically holds true for me lol. I'll definitely get the optional bolts for the flywheel and pressure plate though. Are they just stronger than the OEM ones? or what purpose do they serve?

I believe they are OEM, but even so, with the added forces expected, you want bolts that have only been stretched once, rather than re torqued. ARP hardware would always be best, but I don't know the answer to that one yet :D

Cool if you have another cylinder head that would be sick. If not father in law has a 07 4 cyl taco I could use for building the manifold.

Have any experience with intake manifolds? The one I have is from thailand, and its slapped together.

    A thing or two...
Could always use my truck for the prototype. If I ever get this long travel finished, I'll be starting the turbo build after that.

I'm running that pressure plate. You can easily use this pressure plate as a DD. It's surprisingly light and predictable.

Did it on a co-worker's the other day. Someone asked if it was a Harvey truck. Lol!
We were lazy and just coated the outside known leaking area. That and a new front main seal, and no more rust preventative on the frame.

Most people use -10AN. You can always adapt to smaller. The size of your turbo's outlet is a good indicator.
