hahaha! one of my all time favorite movies. "i'm picking out a thermos, for you"

seriously though, i'm with you about the sharks and squids. did you see the special on the collosal squid. bigger than the giant squid and instead of the suckers being lined with tiny teeth, there is a huge jagged fish hook in the center of each suction cup. scary as shit!

is this before or after they become intimate with the inner workings of your butt? :D

death of a loved one is a good one. so far i've really only had to deal with my grandmothers death and she was already long gone from alzheimers. but if i had to watch my gf or someone in my family die i think i might actually lose it and end up in a psych hospital. the mere thought of it cripples me. hell, i've avoided pets for years cause i cant even deal with the pain of losing a pet, so i dont know what i'm gonna do when i actually have to deal with the real thing. my day is ruined now....

Public speaking....ahhhhhh, creeps me out just thinking about it. I use to dread presentations in college and I would stay up all night tweeking about it. You would think someone that fights in front of thousands of people (basically in my underwear) would have no problems with something like that. I've tried Toastmasters and all that bullshit and it still wigs me out.

i use to paint houses with my uncle. the pitch (the triangle part of hte roof on the side of a house) was always terrifying on the bigger houses. we had to set up 5 or 6 ladders a foot or two apart. we'd start off on one side with a 10 or 20 footer depending on the house and then we'd have to step over to the next ladder. and since the roof is higher in the middle it would sometimes get really really high. we had a 50 footer set up at the apex of the roof one time and as i stepped onto it about 40 feet up, the bottom slipped on the leaves below. my heart stopped and i just clung to the ladder praying that it was done sliding out. it was terrifying. fyi, it was a 3 story house with a basement, which is why we had to use such a tall ladder. and being the new guy on the crew i got volunteered to be the idiot on a tall ladder
