Nice. Wish I could get out more, haven't been in about a month. Ground here was frozen for a good while but its starting to thaw out.

What type of detecting do you do?

Yup, was in the same boat, narrowed it down to CBIs bumper and Demello off-road. Went with Demello.

Gold mostly. Love relic hunting though. Nothing beats the minelab theropy. Spending time between headphones in some god awful back woods pit alone seems to get me all calmed after logging season. I'll be going about five days a week for the next few months till I start back to work.

Nice. Never have been nugget hunting, I really am more into the historic aspect when detecting... I upgraded to a CTX3030 a few months ago from the ATpro.

Yeah! Welcome to minelab country. I upgraded to a GP3000 two years ago from at gold and totally opened my eyes. Now I have GPZ7000 GP3000 ATgold whites GMT and two more old relics in the garage.

Right on. Wish you were a little closer, would be fun to get out, do a little wheeling and dig some old Sh*t up. Ill let you know if I ever mosey over that way. It seems like every time I try to get to an old site in CA there are too many private property no trespassing signs.

Mt majuba. I love that place and the 30/30 will be fine for it.

Yeah, I know a lot of people go out there for nugget hunting. I just don't think I would enjoy it as much as relic hunting / coin shooting. I do need to try it out at least once to see.

I find old intact ammo and gun parts and sometimes old tools more than gold out there. The old railroad bed I think would be the best for relics. When the track was laid where it's at now the old one was then the winnemuca road. It was in better shape than the actual road at that time. I've seen very nice things come out of there.

Huh... thats interesting. I know alot of the CPRR when re-routed was used as the lincoln highway, maybe the lincoln highway was part of winnemucca road.. Have found some cool stuff along the old grade ranging from CPRR construction period to coins from the 20s when it was used as a highway.

That's about what should be there because that's what I saw dig up from it. Tons of silver coins. I'll be heading over that way in spring time for sure. There's a really neat place about an hour from Quincy CA that has tons of old tools. It's hard to get to unless a quad then hike for a bit but it's an old mine site from the gold Rush era.

Those are the best sites... fortunately / or unfortunately now everyone and there mom has a side by side so places like that are getting more accessible to the everyday Joe Shmoe. Although if you have to hike in thats probably not an issue.

I spend quite a bit of time in the spring/ summer headed out looking for remote / hard to get to places. Seems these days every place has side x side traffic... Oh well, anyways Half the fun is the research, and then locating the site and digging to see what kind of activity was going on. When you find something good its just a bonus imo.

did you have to cut for that?
a co worker bought a turd and is looking for bumper options and he doesn't want to cut. I told him I cut that shit up for him but he just cringes. lol

About a foot off the front. Basically from the top of fog lights, everything below that is cut off.

All the bumpers that require no cutting look like shit, they make the front look even bigger than it already is.

again wires don't care what you plug into them, but if there under sized it will melt them. I wouldn't want to ruin my harness when it took me 10 mins to run dedicated power to the rear.
that power in the harness is for lights on a trailer not meant to run a compressor. will it work sure, but for how long?
what is the fuse for the trailer harness? maybe its 30amp and your good. but again at that distance it could still over heat your wire harness, over time it will fail. and if you got good insurance , new truck:bananadead:
