    Like, so many.
I got a spacer lift from HeadStrong Off Road to level my front end. It's not a big deal. Welcome aboard!

Not true. Doesn't matter if a dealer tech did the work. If the non-Toyota part caused anything on the truck to break, the repair would not be covered by the Toyota warranty. The non-Toyota part will typically have its own warranty (could even be lifetime), and the dealer has its standard warranty for shop work (typically 90 days / 10k miles depending on state).

And dealers typically outsource installation of lifts, alarms, paint/fabric sealant, tint, etc. to cheaper indie shops, to save money on labor.

That was my understanding and I thought changing the drivetrain geometry with a lift would be the first thing to void the drivetrain warranty. Its really not something I'm stressed about at the moment. I'll drive the truck for a little bit as is. Then I will eventually be overwhelmed by "Acquired Truck Deficiency Syndrome" and I will go to town on it. =)

I don't mean to hijack this thread or anything but my LF wheel bearing is going and my truck has the extended warranty. Being lifted 2" on 32" tires (1" larger than stock) do I need to worry about the extended warranty being void?

^Your truck is what, two years old, and the wheel bearing is already failing?

Ken I will have to disagree with you. I've bought Toyota's from the same dealer for 20 years and have watched them install lifts on my trucks. I'm sure its the dealers choice to outsource but the dealer I use does not do that. I have my tech that always works on my trucks. They are trust worthy and I don't mind paying the money for good work done. As far as warranty claims go I've never had an issue with warranty claims. Remember its up to the dealer and warranty clerk submitting the claim. Again I've had zero problems with this issue. Regarding parts thats obvious. A non-Toyota part will have a different warranty.

What lift is it though? Looks like some type of spacer on top. Since those are the Hitachi shocks. How is it lifted?
